"I wish to tell you about an experience I had with a truly gifted auto mechanic. This mechanic's name is Kevin Wilson and my name is Ron Beard. Four years ago, I was taking a road trip to West Virginia and about halfway there, my Honda Crosstour's "check engine light" illuminated on the dash board. Of coarse, I was concerned and immediately pulled off the highway and stopped at a Service Station. I called Kevin and related to him what had occurred. By process of elimination, he thought it was probably just one of the engine's "ignition coil packs" that wasn't functioning properly. He felt it was safe for me to drive back home. The next day, he connected my Honda to a diagnostic machine and it showed that indeed one of my "ignition coil packs" was bad. He replaced the coil pack and, in fact, that was all it needed. My Crosstour has 150K miles on it. Through the years, other issues have come up and, with Kevin's help, we have been able to diagnose and fix all the problems.
